Temporary Inventory Controller

With their Australian head office located in Toowoomba, our client is a leader in the resources sector with a national and international presence. Currently, they are seeking an Inventory Controller to join their team on a temporary basis, for approximately six months. Working five days a week, you will be responsible for ensuring all items in the warehouse are accounted for by correctly recording and reconciling them within the internal systems. In addition you will:
  • Liaise with the purchasing team; recording new parts into the system and creating new part numbers;
  • Complete data entry of stock takes;
  • Assist with enquiries regarding stock levels;
  • Liaise with different teams from the wider business; and
  • Provide generalist administration support. 
Our client is open to applications from both experienced Inventory Controllers as well as recent university graduates with a high level of IT knowledge. This role will see you working within a complex ERP and in addition, you will be expected to display high level of knowledge with Excel. You will also have an eye for detail and a demonstrated ability to work to a high level of accuracy. Finally, you will also need to have strong communication skills as you will be dealing with internal customers regularly.
