Our client, one of Australia’s leading energy and resources companies, is seeking a HR Coordinator (temp) to join their Toowoomba office for a short-term role. Due to an increase in activity, they require additional support within the team. The role is expected to run for approximately 6 to 8 months, assisting with the increased workload and providing cover for the HR team during scheduled leave.
About the role:
As a temporary HR Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating personnel, including scheduling and leave management;
- Supporting recruitment and onboarding of field personnel;
- Liaising with Managers and Supervisors regarding staffing, performance and employee development;
- Managing travel and accommodation bookings;
- Maintaining accurate employee records, HR data and training documentation;
- Coordinating training sessions, tracking attendance and providing reports;
- Providing general HR support, including employee communication; and
- Assisting the HR team with administrative tasks, compliance requirements and additional duties as needed, including occasional after-hours support.
You do not need a HR degree. This is a HR administration and Support role. Prior HR experience is beneficial but not essential, as support will be provided.
