In this role, you will ensure services are evidence-based and aligned with the headspace Model Integrity Framework, with responsibilities including:
- Lead the ongoing improvement of headspace services, including clinical governance and practice documents and processes, as well as developing and implementing new projects, partnerships and initiatives
- Maintain high quality clinical skills through direct service delivery, including maintaining a small caseload of clients
- Ensure clinical review meetings occur regularly and documentation is completed appropriately
- Provide supervision and support to clinical staff
- Act as the point of clinical escalation in the centre and delegate where required ensuring clear clinical accountability at all times
- Approved tertiary qualification and current professional registration/accreditation in one of the following disciplines: Psychologist, Mental Health Accredited Social Worker, Mental Health Occupational Therapist, or Mental Health Nurse.
- Experience working in a leadership role in youth mental health services.
- Advanced level of clinical skills and demonstrated experience in a range of mental health service settings inclusive of Youth Mental Health.
- Experience in complex clinical triage, assessment and allocation of referrals.
- Experience in service development and maintaining continuous quality improvement.
- Proven ability in the leadership of multidisciplinary teams, including the provision of clinical supervision and the facilitation of clinical review and performance management processes.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, and an excellent track record in building and maintaining effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel for work.
- Obtain a Police Check, Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
