Our client is a proudly Australian-owned and operated business with nearly 40 years of industry experience. Specialising in the supply of high-quality industrial fasteners and related products, they have built a reputation for reliability, service and long-term customer relationships. They are seeking an experienced Sales Representative to grow their presence across Toowoomba and the surrounding country areas.
About the role:
Reporting to the Sales Manager at Head Office, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and growing an established customer base across Toowoomba and the Darling Downs;
- Developing new business opportunities throughout your territory;
- Selling industrial fasteners and related products to commercial and industrial customers;
- Building long-term client relationships through regular site visits and follow-ups;
- Preparing quotes, following up enquiries and closing sales;
- Achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth; and
- Planning regional customer visits, including occasional overnight stays in agreed locations across the Western Downs and surrounding areas where required.
To be successful in this role, you will have at least five years’ sales experience, ideally in a B2B sales role. You will be confident managing your own territory, generating new business and maintaining customer relationships. Communication, negotiation and follow-up skills are essential, along with a current driver’s licence and the ability to travel across Toowoomba and regional Queensland, including planned overnight stays where required.
