Our client is a specialist agribusiness advisory firm dedicated to helping rural businesses strengthen their financial position through tailored advice, strategic planning and practical solutions. Working closely with farming families and agribusinesses, they support long-term growth and financial resilience. Due to business growth, they are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to join the team.
About the role:
Reporting through to the Directors, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing 12+ team members, including onboarding, performance reviews and day-to-day support, while leading workforce planning, recruitment, retention and professional development as the team grows;
- Leading day-to-day operations, resource allocation and service delivery to improve efficiency, scalability and accountability, with regular reporting to the Directors;
- Working with the Business Compliance Manager to implement and continuously improve policies, procedures, SOPs, governance, risk and compliance frameworks;
- Facilitating workplace health and safety through workplace inspections and compliance activities, while supporting wellbeing and a culture of continuous improvement;
- Providing leadership and direction across the organisation, tracking agreed outcomes and fostering operational consistency and accountability;
- Liaising with Marketing and ICT suppliers and managing the facilities, operational budgets, subscriptions, supplier contracts and vendor relationships to ensure value;
- Ensuring staff accreditations and training requirements are maintained;
- Maintaining consistent client service standards and working with stakeholders to improve the client experience through process and operational improvements;
- Overseeing CRM, workflow systems, reporting, dashboards and KPIs, and translating business needs into practical technology, automation and process improvements;
- Partnering with senior leadership to deliver strategic initiatives, cross-functional projects, events and business growth objectives; and
- Providing insights and suggestions for improvements across all areas of the business, including opportunities to strengthen profitability through operational efficiency and resource optimisation.
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in people and practice management, with the ability to lead, support and motivate a team, preferably in a professional services environment. Ideally, experience in financial services, accounting or advisory will be highly regarded, along with demonstrated success in team leadership, process improvement and stakeholder relationship management. You will be organised, proactive and take pride in maintaining efficient business operations. You will confidently balance day-to-day priorities with broader business goals, build strong relationships with staff, suppliers and key stakeholders, and foster collaboration and accountability in a growing business. High-level proficiency with CRM systems, SharePoint and Microsoft Office will be essential.
