Founded in the 1950’s, our client is one of Queensland’s largest regionally based Consulting Engineering firms, with offices and team members in:
  • Chinchilla, Roma, Tara, Miles and Toowoomba.
What will my role include?  
  
Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Being involved in all aspects of the projects and project management;
  • Analysis and preparation of technical reports;
  • Inspections of works in progress to verify compliance against design;
  • Administration of construction contracts;
  • Mentoring staff;
  • Scoping of projects and preparation of fee proposals; and
  • Communicating across all levels and interpreting client needs.
Who are we looking for?  
 
The successful candidate will have extensive Australian experience in a relevant civil engineering area. This experience will also be backed by a Civil Engineering degree that is recognised by Engineers Australia. Registration as a Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) or eligibility for registration is not required, however will be highly regarded.

You will also have:
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Austroads and DTMR design requirements;
  • Experience with DRAINS, CIRCLY and WaterCad software packages will be highly regarded; and
  • Minimum 10 years of civil engineering experience (minimum 5 years relevant Australian experience).
You will be required to hold a valid unrestricted driver’s license and Construction White Card, as some travel to job sites (using company pool vehicles) will be required occasionally.
