JP Smith Recruitment and HR are offering a resume advice service to the public, free of charge. This service aims to assist anyone who either wishes to make improvements to their current resume or would like advice on how to create a resume for a job they wish to apply for. Our doors are open on Tuesday 15th August from 9 AM until 5 PM. You will have the opportunity to meet with one of our experienced consultants who will be able to provide you with advice on what employers are looking for in a resume. We can offer our suggestions on what to include, as well as what not to include and the most effective ways of presenting this information to an employer. With more than ten years of experience in recruiting, our expertise is sure to assist anyone who may be struggling to secure an interview with their current resume.
This is the first time we have ever provided this service and we intend to make it as efficient and professional as possible. To do this, we would ask for your understanding and assistance to make it go as well as it can. Please note that there is no fee for this - it is a community service.
We are aiming to provide a 10 minute consultation with you and provide real-world advice that comes from our experience in the employment sector. The reason why we're not taking bookings and setting exact times is that we're wanting to make it a first in, first served basis. Come on over and introduce yourselves and we can take it from there. That way, we think it will be fair for everyone.
Our reception area has only limited space so our awesome administration staff plan to give you a number as to where you are in the queue when you arrive and give you a rough estimate of time as to when we can see you. Once again, we would appreciate your patience, if this service proves to be as popular as we think it might.
Whether you’re looking for a new job or simply just want to update your resume to include your current job, make a visit to our Toowoomba office on Tuesday 15th August and receive some FREE advice – no strings attached!
Look forward to seeing you!
